Bezalel
A residential project, initiating from the word 'ritual', taking place in my childhood neighbourhood. An intervention in the area combining the lack of social use in the streets and their circulation aspect. A building that blurs the definition between public and private creates new meeting points in the neighbourhood and allows a fresh perspective to the locals and visitors. Using different levels, I have created a system of horizons, in which every one of them is contributing to a new platform of social life. Changing transportation's priority led me to respect the pedestrians over the cars, preventing cars from entering the neighbourhood and making the area surrounding the houses safer and peaceful. Splitting the pathways lets the walking by choose their way, their view, and their acquaintances.
